Chelsea Yarnell is an Emmy-winning documentary director and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. With over a decade spent in unscripted television, Chelsea has developed a passion for immersive vérité filming and creative, character-driven storytelling. She was a key collaborator on many documentary series, including the IDA Documentary Award-winning Last Chance U on Netflix. She recently developed, produced, and co-directed both seasons of Netflix’s CHEER, which won three Emmy awards including Best Director and Best Unstructured Reality Series. She is a member of the Directors Guild of America. Chelsea is a graduate of CalArts (2012) where she studied dance and film.
